About the Job
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-time Backend Developer to join our innovative team at add eduttttta company. As a Back-End Engineer with at least 2 years of professional experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services. This is an individual contributor role with no management responsibilities. You will be instrumental in building the core infrastructure and APIs that power our products, leveraging your expertise in NestJS and system design principles to ensure high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Implement and manage APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) for internal and external consumption.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Apply strong system design principles to architect and build robust, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Manage and optimize database interactions and schemas.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in NestJS framework.
- Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of system design principles and architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Supertest) and test-driven development (TDD).
- Prior experience in the EdTech domain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
